Jamie-Leigh, 8CO, transferred from St Patrick’s, Drumgreenagh last year. New-Bridge Integrated College and St Patrick’s, Drumgreenagh had great success in 2016 in School Choir of the Year with St Patrick’s taking the title in the final. Following their success in the School Choir of the Year, the choir auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent. In the interim, Jamie-Leigh transferred to New-Bridge and she was thrilled when she received an invite to audition for Britain’s Got Talent with St Patrick’s. The choir travelled to Manchester in February and received word on Thursday 27 April that their audition would be aired on the show. Jaymee-Lee is quite the celebrity the moment and rightly so! It’s not often such a wonderful opportunity comes along. Jaymee-Lee said the panel of judges were very nice and David even came backstage to chat to them! Jaymee-Lee’s Year Head, Ms Byrne and Music teacher, Mrs McLean can finally breathe a sigh of relief as they no longer have to keep the news a secret. Jaymee-Lee got a huge hug from Mrs Anderson, Principal, this morning. ‘We are so proud of Jaymee-Lee’s achievement. She is a quiet, dilligent student who is a joy to teach and a wonderful ambassador for New-Bridge. We wish Jaymee-Lee and the choir of St. Patrick’s, Drumgreenagh continued success in Britain’s Got Talent’. Good luck from everyone at New-Bridge!
