CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL, HOLY TRINITY CHURCH, BANBRIDGE

4 DECEMBER TO 7 DECEMBER 2014

‘FELLOWSHIP IN NEW-BRIDGE’ TREE DESIGN

re student fin treeWe were delighted to have been invited to participate in the Holy Trinity Christmas Tree Festival 2014.

We were given the theme ‘We saw His star in the East and have come to worship Him’ (Matthew 2:2)

New-Bridge Integrated College FIN Group (Fellowship in New-Bridge) created their own wonderfully unique, hand crafted tree which was delivered to the Church of Ireland for inclusion in the festival.

In keeping with the theme, ‘FIN’ decided to focus on the idea of making a journey to follow the star and used maps of the Middle East (Palestine) as the key part of the tree. The rest was filled with traditional Christmas colours of red and green and holly to represent the season. The star at the top shows the East, the direction of the journey.

As you can see it is absolutely beautiful and congratulations to the FIN Group.    The tree has been returned to the College and you will have an opportunity to see it for yourself at our Carol Service on Wednesday 17 December 2014 at 1.45pm
