y8 students “sharing a heart” for Safer Internet Day. The theme is “Play your part for a better internet”.
New-Bridge Integrated College is supporting Safer Internet Day today, Tuesday 9th February 2016. We are joining hundreds of other organisations across the UK in celebrating Safer Internet Day and promoting the safe and responsible use of technology. To celebrate the day Year 8, 9 and 10 pupils created “Be like Bill” posters with their own e-safety message. The theme this year is “Play your part for a better internet”, offering the opportunity to focus on both the creative and positive things that children and y young people are doing online, as well as the role that we all play in helping to create a better internet.
New-Bridge continue to focus on internet safety for our pupils and identify a range of workshops to promote the safe used of the internet. Wayne Denner visited the College recently and delivered a full school assembly on ‘protecting your online reputation’. Our programme for 2016 will include additional similar workshops together with school based training.
