Year 14 Students, Ronan and Josh

Selected for Cambridge Summer School

Congratulations to ‘Gifted and Talented’  Year 14 students, Ronan Curran and Josh Morrison on obtaining a place on the NI Experiencing Cambridge Residential Summer School will take place from Wednesday 29 June to Friday 1 July 2016.
This is an excellent opportunity for high achieving students to experience academic life at the University of Cambridge. It will also provide an opportunity to take advantage of the University’s Open Day on Friday 1 July when all Departments and Faculties will be open to visitors.
Cambridge academics will deliver taster lectures that are designed to stretch and challenge a student’s understanding beyond A Level, and will expose them to new ideas and research at the University. There will also be social activities and tours, as well as information and advice on preparing competitive applications to university, writing personal statements and preparing for Oxbridge interviews.
We are delighted that Ronan and Josh will gain invaluable preparation for Medicine university applications in 2017! Well done boys
