Lauren Wright year 11 pictured as she performed at the ‘Wake the Giant’ project at the Warrenpoint Festival.  This project was one of many organised by Newry Arts Centre where young people were given the task of composing a piece especially for the event.  Lauren attended a special workshop with the famous guitarist Pat McManus from rock band, ‘Mama’s Boys’.  Lauren says, ‘this was an amazing opportunity; enjoyable and inspiring!’
