  3. Mrs Hasson Appointed Vice Principal for September 2013

I am delighted to announce that Mrs Hasson has been successfully appointed to the post of permanent Vice Principal of New-Bridge Integrated College for September 2013.

Mrs Hasson joined the College as Head of SEN in September 1997.  She quickly established herself and built up an extremely efficient and effective department supported by a team of highly trained, invaluable classroom assistants. In our recent ETI Inspection Report 2012, Mrs Hasson was acknowledged as an ’outstanding leader’ and the school remains very proud of her achievements.   Mrs Hasson is a highly respected member of the College staff ; she works closely with each Year Head and Head of Department to ensure that all the students in the College, regardless of their ability are given an equal opportunity to enjoy a positive experience of integrated, all-ability education.

Mrs Hasson has been a member of the Senior Management Team supporting Mrs Anderson, Principal in the day to day running of the school and has also held responsibility as Collaboration Co-ordinator within the Banbridge Area Learning Community.  She has been instrumental in developing the ‘school to school’ courses at GCSE and A-Level as well as courses being undertaken at SRC in Newry and Banbridge.    Her many strengths include the ability to plan strategically, work as part of a team.  Her indepth knowledge and understanding of the 11-18 curriculum, combined with her many years pastoral experience working as an extremely effective Year Head, equips her with all the skills required for her new role as Vice Principal, in charge of Teaching and Learning.     On behalf of the Board of Governors of New-Bridge Integrated College, I would like to extend our congratulations to Mrs Hasson and wish her every success for the future.  I am fully confident that she will continue to provide invaluable support to Mrs Anderson and the staff of the College.
