What is an Anti-Bullying Ambassador?
An Anti-Bullying Ambassador is a student trained to help make school a safe and supportive place for everyone. At New-Bridge Integrated College, we have a team of 40 ambassadors who are passionate about supporting their peers and promoting kindness. You’ll easily spot them in their blue hoodies, ready to help.
What do Anti-Bullying Ambassadors do?
- Foster a Safe Community: They work to build a caring and respectful atmosphere where everyone feels valued.
- Be Positive Role Models: They lead by example, encouraging kindness, respect, and inclusion.
- Educate on Bullying Behaviour: They teach others about what bullying is, how to prevent it and how to report bullying behaviour if you or a friend are experiencing it.
- Promote Tolerance and Diversity: They lead campaigns that celebrate differences and ensure everyone feels welcome.
- Keep Peers Safe: They help students stay safe both online and offline by providing advice and support.
- Offer Support: They are approachable and ready to listen if you’re feeling upset or need advice.
Our ambassadors are committed to raising awareness about bullying and making New-Bridge a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone. If you need support, don’t hesitate to reach out to one of them!
