FORTHCOMING SCHOOL EVENTS AND CLOSURES

As we draw to the end of another busy year at New-Bridge, I would like to draw your attention to some exciting events still to come and notify you of some changes to our calendar for the end of term.

 

Monday 8 June 2015               Sports Day (Detailed letter attached) .

Monday 15 June 2015             New Year 8 Intake Induction Evening at 7.30pm 

Wednesday 17 June 2015        New Year 8 Induction Day (Year 8 Stay at Home)

To facilitate the induction process for our new Year 8 students, we would ask that our existing Year 8 students only remain at home on Wednesday 17 June 2015.  Normal teaching day for rest of school.

Thursday 18 June 2015           Summer Cooler 2015 – at 7.30pm.

This has become a wonderful annual event in the New-Bridge Calendar that we all look forward to, which showcases the many talents of our gifted music students. It is a community event for pupils, parents and staff, so everyone welcome.

Tuesday 23 June 2015             Junior Prize Day – at 1.30pm

This is a very exciting event in our school calendar.  We look forward to celebrating and rewarding the hard work and achievements of our students.  We would like to extend an invitation to parents/guardians to attend.

Monday 29 June 2015             Year 13 Students Only attend (Y8, 9, 10, 11 stay at home)

Monday 29 June is a pupil day for Year 13 Students only to facilitate training.  An Information Day has also been arranged for external pupils interested in joining 6th Form.

Tuesday 30 June 2015             Staff Planning Day (No pupils attend)

Reports for Students in Year 8 to Year 11 will be posted at the end of June.

May I take this opportunity to wish our GCSE and A Level Students well as they undertake their examinations.   We look forward to welcoming our A Level students for their results on Thursday 13 August 2015 at 9.00am, GCSE results will be available on Thursday 20 August at 9.00am and interviews for Sixth Form will take place that day.   Year 11 module results will be available from 2pm on Thursday 20 August 2015.
