Bank of Ireland representative Agnes McBirney presents New-Bridge students with Silver Tickets for Junk Kouture Regional Final.

Jack Whyte, Eve Willis and Courtney Rea have been presented with their ticket to the Junk Kouture Regional Final which will take place in the Millenium Forum on March 1st.  Jack’s creation which will be modelled by his younger brother Harry is entitled Mord’u, Jack explains the concept behind his work, “Just like Frankenstein’s monster, my creation has become a doppelgänger which has evolved into an imposing, chaotic, terrifying figure.  The mythical origins of the concept are fierce but are contrasted by the fact that the design houses a young boy.”  Courtney Rea and Eve Willis are responsible for New-Bridge’s second success, their costume, the ‘Reason for the Season’ uses bright and stylish colours and a modern silhouette to present an uplifting experience.  New-Bridge Integrated College will be cheering for our students on Thursday evening when they will perform in front of students from all over Northern Ireland.  They are wonderful ambassadors for our art department and school.
