  3. Congratulations Mrs Anderson, Principal of New-Bridge Integrated College

The Board of Governors are delighted to announce the permanent appointment of Mrs  Anne Anderson as Principal of New-Bridge Integrated College.  Mrs Anderson was appointed Vice Principal in 2008, having worked in Lagan College, the first integrated College in Northern Ireland, for 16 years.  Following Mr Jones’ retirement in June 2012, Mrs Anderson agreed to take on the role of acting Principal for the academic year 2012/2013.  The post was advertised in February and following the interview process, Mrs Anderson was successfully appointed.  Mrs Norah Connolly, Chairperson, would like to take this opportunity on behalf of the Board of Governors, to wish Mrs Anderson every success in her new role and thank her for her commitment to the College.

“We are delighted that Mrs Anderson has been successful.  Mrs Anderson is a huge asset to the College  and  played a major role in the success of our recent inspection.  Mrs Anderson is an extremely effective manager and teacher.  Her interests lie very much at the heart of the school, the students and the promotion of integrated education.  She is held in high regard by the students, staff and governors of the College.  She is enthusiastic and forward thinking and we look forward to the continued success of the College under her direction”
