It all Stems from New-Bridge…
S.T.E.M. Family Day
Saturday 23rd March from 10am to 1pm
New- Bridge Integrated College hosted an exciting Family STEM Day, facilitated by Sentinus, on 23rd March 2013 from 10.00am -1.00pm. The event engaged local Primary school pupils, particularly those approaching the transition between primary and secondary school.
The aim of the programme is to promote a better understanding of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths(STEM). Local Primary 6 and 7 students and their families engaged with Year 8 students at New-Bridge and took part in bridge building, rocketry and K’Nex car challenges.
These practical and stimulating activities provided a most enjoyable family day out . There was an opportunity throughout the morning to meet role models from the STEM industry, who will also work with the family teams.
To facilitate the workshops, please indicate your intention to attend by phoning / emailing the College on 028 4062 5010 / firstname.lastname@example.org We look forward to welcoming you on the morning
