  3. LGFA Go Games Refereeing Course

On Friday 8th October our years 13 and 14 students took part in a fantastic opportunity to complete the ladies Gaelic LGFA Go games refereeing course. During this course they gained new information and new found confidence in a sport many of our students didn’t know much about.

During the course the students were introduced to the basic rules of Ladies Gaelic football, the roles and responsibilities of becoming a referee and they also developed fundamental skills which will start to enable them to become confident young referees in the future.

It is fantastic to see so many of our students taking part and promoting themselves and also promoting women’s sport within our school.

Thank you to Ulster Ladies Gaelic Football for providing our school with this opportunity.
