Natalie Abernethy presents the final piece for her ‘Mapping the horizons of the mind’ project which allowed her to investigate the importance of the use of stitch within art therapy. During Natalie’s investigation she hosted a workshop for our year 10 students, year 14 students and the local art group. Natalie’s project has only been made possible
with the help of the Carson Bursary received in January.
A warm word of thanks to Anne Morgan who gave a demonstration and workshop on the skill and techniques involved in making Carricmacross Lace. Our year 14 students were inspired by the intricacy of the medium and the possibilities within contemporary lace and crochet.
