  3. New-Bridge Celebrates Chinese New Year

As part of our cultural and diversity ethos in New-Bridge, Mrs Hasson, Vice Principal held an assembly to mark the ‘Chinese New Year’.  Mrs Hasson explained that this year is the ‘Year of the ‘Horse’ and in Chinese tradition, people born in the year of the horse are believed to exhibit characteristics associated with horses and are said to be animated, active and energetic and love being in a crowd. Similar to foals, who learn to walk minutes after they are born, they are quick to learn independence .They have a straightforward and positive attitude towards life, are known for their communication skills and are exceedingly witty.
