THE FUTURE LOOKS BRIGHT FOR ‘SKILLED’ NEW-BRIDGE STUDENTS

Congratulations to New-Bridge Students Robbie Johnston 12MD, James O’Rourke 12WT and Martin Fitzpatrick 12MD who participated at the Skill Build Competition on Thursday 19 January in the SRC in Newry. The boys were competing against pupils from each of the Colleges in the  Southern Region and faced tough competition.  We are delighted to share the news that Robbie Johnston, was awarded 1st Place in Patisserie and Baking(watch out Paul Hollywood!) and James O’Rourke  was awarded 3rd in Maintenance of Land Based Machinery.   We are extremely proud of the achievements of all three students and congratulate them on their hard work and success.
