On Friday 13th December we had a Non-uniform Day with a difference ! Year 10 sponsored a Christmas Jumper Day to support the charity Save the Children. The money we raised will help save children’s lives, especially those affected by the recent typhoon in the Philippines. Just £1 could pay for high- nutrient food to treat a child suffering from life- threatening malnutrition. It was a brilliant opportunity for all our pupils to have some end-of- term festive fun while raising money to help children in the world’s poorest countries. New- Bridge came out in it’s true glory with woollies adorning tinsel, baubles, Santas, reindeers and even those daring enough to risk fairy lights !! Year 10 would like to thank Mrs Anderson and all our staff for their support and encouragement on this most enjoyable fund-raising event.
