Governors, staff , pupils and invited guests were brought back to the original story of Christmas at our annual Carol Service held in the College this afternoon.   That very first Christmas Day when God became man, and the birth of a baby, in an insignificant town in Palestine, changed the world.

A selection of our GCSE Drama Students led the service today in the form of a Shadow Mime under the direction of Mrs Farrelly, and our Head Boy David and Head Girl Tara narrated the story to accompany the frames.

Throughout the performance the College Music Department, under the direction of by Mrs McLean, Head of Music, led us in song with a selection of beautiful music and carols and Members of the College community led us in prayer.  Rev. McBride and Fr. Wright joined together in prayer and blessings for the College community.

Mrs Anderson, Principal, was delighted to welcome, Banbridge District Council Chairperson Oliver Mercer, Rev. Patricia McBride, Fr. Colum Wright, Mr Philip Mehaffey (Vice Chair of the Board of governors), Mrs Deirdre Kennedy(governor), Mrs Maura Nicholl (governor)and many of our parents and extended family who joined with us today.
