Gifted and Talented New-Bridge student Alanna McCourt has been awarded the Carson Bursary for integration for her composition of her song written to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the College titled ‘New Beginnings’.

Alanna performed the song at the Carson Awards last Thursday accompanied on piano by Head of Music, Mrs McLean and watched proudly by Mrs Anderson, Principal and fellow students.  Alanna performed again at a full school assembly on Monday 28 September at the launch of our 20th Anniversary ‘Open Week’ watched by Guest of Honour, Mr Paul Clark, UTV.

Mrs Noreen Campbell, Chief Executive of NICIE has personally requested Alanna to perform at the NICIE AGM in November.
