Mrs Anderson describes Tara as a conscientious and committed student who obtained regular commendation for achievement and effort over the past seven years. She has an excellent academic profile having obtained a strong set of GCSE and AS results.  Tara possesses well developed skills of leadership and organisation. She carried out her role as Head Girl with great enthusiasm and made a significant contribution to whole school life, shaping the after school homework club, taking on role of an Anti-bullying Ambassador for the school and representing the school at high profile events.  Tara was an excellent Head Girl and fully involved herself in all aspects of school life.  Tara represented the school at many prestigious events where she had to prepare and deliver speeches to a large audience’.

Mrs McKeown, Head of Art is extremely proud of Tara’s success. ‘Tara is an exceptional student who exemplifies the thinking skills and personal capabilities that we encourage in all our pupils. Her particular strength is creative problem solving as represented in her work ‘Exposure’, a study of photography and portraiture.  This work resulted in exciting imagery produced by her own hand made Pinhole, Obscura and Exposure cameras.  Tara is a pleasant and thoughtful student, a creative thinker driven by an innate curiosity of the world around her, she has made a significant contribution to the Art department at New-Bridge Integrated College.  Throughout her time with us, Tara developed a strong level of proficiency in painting and graphic work and constructed a range of high-quality Fine Art outcomes including a 20 foot mural at the entrance to the department building.  She was a popular and team-focused student who was also able to work independently. She has been a reliable and supportive student who has responded extremely well to the demands of A-Level’.
