  3. Duke of Edingburgh 2014

Our aim of Duke of Edinburgh was to promote the exhibition to the new Lower Sixth. We completed 12 months of volunteering work, six of physical activity and three of skill.

We also completed a 2 day practice exhibition in the Mourne Mountains, along with several practice walks through a number of forests.

Through this we have learned a number of skills such as how to read a map, compass and how to build a tent etc.

Duke of Ed was a challenging yet enjoyable experience and I believe that we have throughly developed out team work skills and it has brought us closer together.
