nuPower held their AGM today to wind up their company business for 2016. The decision was made to give the majority of their profit to Chest, Heart & Stroke.  A cheque was graciously received by Martin Black, local Chairperson.

The students received their certificates for successfully completing the Company Programme. Lead teacher Mrs Bittle commented “This group of Year 13 pupils have been a pleasure to work with. They have impressed me with their motivation and enthusiasm all year. I hope they use the entrepreneurial skills they have developed through the year and wish every success in the future”.

Many thanks to Mrs Harbinson Head of Careers, Cathy Morrison YENI manager and Michael Young, business advisor for attending today’s meeting.

Also included in picture with the Latvian Four is Michael Young presenting Niamh Warnock with a special endeavour award for her contribution to nuPower.
