  3. OPEN DAY 2016 RESOUNDING SUCCESS

The Governors, Principal, Staff and pupils  of New-Bridge Integrated College were proud to showcase the College at our annual Open Day which took place on Saturday 16 January 2016.  This is a significant year for the College as we continue to celebrate our 20th Anniversary year.   Over 500 families visited the College on Saturday morning.  Student ambassadors guided prospective pupils in P7 and Year 12  who are interested in joining Year 8 and Sixth Form in September.

Mrs Anderson spoke of an inclusive nurturing school with outstanding success academically and pastorally.  Year 8 pupils, Lucy O’Neil and Frank Finley addressed a full assembly hall. This  time last year Frank and Lucy were prospective pupils visiting the College on Open Day and now, one year later, full of enthusiasm, they happily described their New-Bridge experience to date and what it means to them to be part of the ‘New-Bridge Family’.   Head Girl, Maria McAnearney and Deputy Head Boy, Lee Close also spoke about their school experience over the past seven years as they draw near to the end of their education in New-Bridge.  Maria said that while she was excited about the future, she could not believe that she would be leaving New-Bridge in June.
