Students in Year 8 at New-Bridge Integrated College have made individual pledges to help ‘Create A Safer Internet’ to mark ‘Internet Safety Day’.

Year 8 pledge to
- set my social accounts to private and not accept strangers to be my friends
- unfollow people I don’t know
- help anyone who may be getting bullied or harrassed
- report any abuse or anything that should not be on the internet
- think before I speak
- repost pictures and videos about how the internet can get out of control and then the message can get through
- make my settings private and let my mum and dad see it
- help anyone if they are having trouble on the computer and if they are made to feel uncomfortable I will help report them
- don’t post pictures of myself on the internet
- never send photos or videos to strangers
- tell people about Facebook and private settings
